El FORUM, un movimiento revolucionario en Guamà.

Chivirico: 4 de diciembre. El Movimiento del FORUM de ciencia y
técnica en Cuba constituye una revolucionaria respuesta a la solución
de inconvenientes que aquejan a los pobladores en su afán de recibir
cada vez más mejores servicios.
Obreros de la entidad de industrias locales en Aserradero, municipio
Guamá de la provincia Santiago de Cuba, ante la solicitud y demanda
social de que hayan implementos deportivos para la práctica de
disciplinas que están limitadas por la escasez de recursos
industriales en el mercado, decidieron tejer Nets de Voleibol,
Básquetbol y hasta hamacas de tejidos recuperados en los neumáticos en
desuso del transporte automotor.
Lo interesante de este aporte es que hasta no hace un año a esos
neumáticos se les quemaba a riesgo de contaminar el medio ambiente y
deteriorar de la capa de ozono. Ahora, además de aprovechar el alambre
para amarrar las escobas de Yarey, también se emplean las llamadas
"cabuyas o tejidos de nylon" envueltos en caucho y les permite tejer
estas sugerentes cestas para ser ensartadas por balones en el
Basquetbol o mayas de Voleibol.
Es que, incluso, hasta los estudiantes de escuelas aladeñas a
Aserradero, en este municipio Guamá, han solicitado se les confeccione
hamacas para satisfacer sus demandas en los llamados camping o
acampadas donde siempre es de satisfacción disponer de una cama
práctica que le aísle del suelo y descansar al frescor de la brisa
marina en esta zona.
He aquí una muestra de estas confecciones que han venido a satisfacer
necesidades sociales y a la vez, sus aportes económicos salen de
recursos que anteriormente eran parte del vertedero con sus
consecuentes amenazas higiénicas sanitarias hasta para el medio
ambiente. De una goma o neumático dado de baja es posible generar
valores extraordinarios, es la máxima que distingue a los trabajadores
del taller de industrias locales en Aserradero de Guamá.

in Cuba constitutes a revolutionary alternative to the solution of
inconveniences that its residents suffer because of their desire of
getting better services.
Workers from the local industries entity in Aserradero, Guamá
municipality, taking into account the request or social demand that
sport implements have to practice different sports that are limited
because of the lack of industrial resources in the market, have
decided to knit Volleyball and Basketball nets, and even hammocks of
fabrics recovered from abandoned tires.
The interesting thing of this contribution is that one year ago those
tires were burned, with a big risk of polluting the environment and
deteriorating the ozone. Now, besides taking advantage of the wires to
tie the Yarey brooms, the nylon fabrics or ropes wrapped in rubber are
also used to knit these baskets to play Basketball, or nets for
Volleyball.
Even the students from the nearest schools to Aserradero, have
requested hammocks to satisfy their camping demands because is always
a satisfaction to have a practical bed that keep them out of the
ground to have a nice siesta with the ocean breeze in this area.
There is a sample of these creations that could satisfy those social
necessities here and at the same time, their economic contributions
come from resources that previously were part of the trash and their
sanitary hygienic consequences were a threat even for the environment.
From a rubber or an old tire is possible to generate extraordinary
values, it?s the maxim that distinguishes the shop workers of the
local industries in Aserradero, Guamá municipality.
